Hawaiian Culture

Hawai'i is a valuable resource for both natural and cultural environments. We feel that it is important for you to have knowledge and respect for both, for this is truly an ecologically and culturally sensitive environment. We designed a hands-on Hawaiian natural history and culture section of the program (through field trips, workshops and seminars) to provide you with an aspect of Hawaii that is enhanced with an appreciation for the ways of the native people in their home environment.
